Smalls

Smalls makes fresh, protein-first food for cats, built on a simple mission printed on every bag: to make nine lives ten. Founder Matt Michaelson started Smalls after realizing most cat food wasn't made with a cat's biology in mind, and The Hungry Puppy is proud to carry the Smalls line in our Farmingdale, NJ store and online.

Smalls fresh food is gently cooked to preserve the nutrients and moisture cats need. Every recipe is made with at least 80% animal protein and human-grade protein, with no additives and no corn, soy or wheat fillers, and is formulated with veterinary nutritionists to be complete and balanced for every life stage. Choose from seven recipes in smooth or ground textures, including Smooth Bird, Ground Bird, Smooth Other Bird, Smooth Fish and Smooth Pig. Find them in our freezer or browse frozen food.

Smalls freeze-dried Puffs give cats the crunch of dry food with 95% single-source animal protein and no artificial preservatives or flavors. Try Puffy Bird (chicken) or Puffy Other Bird (turkey), complete and balanced for all life stages and easy to serve dry, rehydrated or as a topper.

Smalls broths add flavor and moisture for picky eaters: Bird Broth, Fish Broth and Pig Broth. Smalls Licks are lickable treats packed with real broth and zero gums or additives: Bird Licks (digestion), Fish Licks Salmon (digestion) and Fish Licks Tuna (skin and coat).

Shop online for free local delivery over $20 or curbside pickup, or visit us in store. Freeze-dried Smalls ships free nationwide on orders over $75. Browse all cat food and freeze-dried food at The Hungry Puppy, family-owned since 1987.
