Happy New Year!

Every year when January 1st hits, we make resolutions for ourselves to lead happier and healthier lives in the upcoming year. But why should it stop with us? This year, make some resolutions for your pets so they can also live the best year yet!

1. Take your dogs for more walks – Walking is great exercise for both you and your four-legged friend. Clip on that leash and step outside! Explore your neighborhood or take a trip to a park and enjoy the fresh air.

2. Annual wellness exams – All pets should visit the vet at least once a year for a wellness exam. This is a routine exam done by a vet to ensure that your pet is healthy. It’s also the best way to detect if there are any problems, and to take action before things get too serious.

3. Make more play dates – Whether you plan a get together with another pet parent or take your dog to the local dog park, continuing to socialize your dog is a good goal for the new year. There’s no such thing as a dog that’s too friendly!

4. Love your pets unconditionally – While this should go without saying, in 2017 you should continue to show your pets unconditional love. You are their whole world. Enjoy every moment you have with them – they make our lives so much better.

These are just a few pet resolutions you could make this year. There are plenty more you could come up with for you and the animals in your life.

Wishing you a happy, healthy, and tail-wagging New Year!
