February is National Pet Dental Health Month!

Flea and Tick Control

flea-and-tick

Fleas and ticks are two common (and quite annoying) problems that your dog may experience in their life. Both fleas and ticks can cause irritation as well as certain diseases. To keep your pets healthy, it is important to take preventative measures against fleas and ticks.

Nexgard and Simparica are two prescription medications for flea and tick control.

Both of these products are chewable tablets that are effective for one month at a time.

Unlike topical flea and tick preventatives, Nexgard and Simparica are taken orally, so bathing and swimming do not affect the products’ effectiveness.

Nexgard and Simparica are now available at The Hungry Puppy. A recent prescription is needed in order to purchase either of these products.

Vaccinating Your Pets

According to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), vaccinations protect your pet from highly contagious and potentially deadly diseases.
